Using DuraShield overlays provides additional security and improves card aesthetics. The true
edge-to-edge coverage improves the look of the card, and makes them tamper resistant and
tamper evident.

DuraShield overlay can be used with color or monochrome ribbons, but requires the use of a

ibbon with a “T” panel.
Serialized Laminates
Serialized laminates provide another layer of security at time of personalization by providing a
unique serial number on each laminate. This number can easily be matched with a registration
database, providing audit control to over the counter issuance sites.
Bar Code Reader
The optional bar code reader provides the ability to read serialized laminates, adding an
additional layer of security.
Modularity
The CD800 CLM Module can be added to existing CD800
duplex printers. It’s an option for any
CD800 printer purchased after July 2, 2012 and with serial number C20000, C19192, C19193 or
C19194.
Debow System
Card aesthetics are very important to customers, and the new, patented debow feature in the
CD800 CLM ensures the delivery of flatter cards. The cards printed on the CD800 CLM meet
the latest ISO standards.
Lamination Station
The CD800 CLM comes standard with single sided lamination and optional dual-sided lamination
capability. This provides the ability to provide two different types of overlays material to the front
and the back of the car to
meet customers’ specific needs.
