Connecting Other Signals
To connect syncs, external trigger sources, or digital I/O signals to the
board, perform the following procedure:
1. If you are using an external sync input, attach the external
composite sync input to EP306 connector 6.
2. If you want the board to provide the sync to the video input
source, attach the sync input of the video input source to the
output of EP306 connector 13 (COMP_SYNC).
3. If you are using an external trigger source, attach EP306
connector 7 to the output of the external trigger source.
4. If you are using digital outputs, attach EP306 connectors 8, 9,
and/or 10, to the external device’s digital input jacks.
5. If you are using digital inputs, attach EP306 connectors 11 and/or
12 to the external device’s digital output jacks.
