V-Log 4 & 8 users: 

 

To remove the existing battery pack:

 

 

Unscrew the screws and lift off the lid to the battery compartment. Lift the battery pack out of the way, 
grip the wires at the connector end and pull out in a vertical movement.  

To fit the new battery pack: 

 

Push the plug on the new 
battery pack into the connector 
in the battery compartment; the 
red wire will be on the top and 
black wire below. 

Place the battery pack in its 
compartment, positioning the 
wires so they lay on top of the 
battery. 

Replace the compartment lid, 
the lugs on the lid fit into the 
slots at the top of the battery 
compartment. Screw the lid 
back into place. 

Connect the logger to a USB 
port and leave on charge for a 
minimum of 

8 hours

 to 

condition the battery pack. 
 
 

V-Hub users: 

Electrostatic Discharge Precautions:  

 

Avoid touching the electronic components on the circuit board. 

 

Avoid an environment prone to static electricity.  

 

If you are prone to static electric shocks, discharge yourself against a metal 
object before touching the PCB.  

 

Do not allow any parts of the circuit board to make contact with any metal objects or water. 

 
To remove the existing battery pack:

 

 

Turn V-Hub screen face down and keep in this position. Use a 
blunt tool to lever and remove the 4 feet. 

Use a screwdriver to remove all 4 screws, keep them in a safe 
place. Lift off the entire base.  

 
 
Remove the battery 
from its holder.  
 
 
 
 
 
 
Press down gently on the battery holder, grip 
the wires at the plug end and pull the battery 
connector out of its socket in a vertical 
movement.
