-Assembling the levers:
Apply a thin layer of mounting paste on the clamping area of the handlebar. Install
the brake and shifter levers. We recommend mounting them between 13cm and
20cm from the end of the handlebar. Tighten the lever bolts until the levers
become practically fixed. We recommend that the levers could rotate if you make
force. Then the levers won’t break in case of fall.
The maximum tightening torque
for the levers bolts is 2.5 Nm.
With less torque will be enough to fix the levers.
- Recommendations for use:
The Darimo MTB Handlebar is reliable and exceeds the standard tests, but it is not
recommended for people overweighing 90 kg.
Check usually the status of the handlebar. If you notice any strange thing, please
notify us.
Do not use bar-ends in the Darimo Handlebar
. If you want to use bar-ends, please
contact with us and buy an specific handlebar for that.
We don’t recommend to cut the handlebar.
If you need, you can cut the
handlebar, but you will lose the end reinforcement which will avoid damage in the
handlebar ends in case of fall.
Never exceed the torque limits.
If you exceed the torque limits, that will
compromise the handlebar safety and it will not be covered by warranty.
-Warranty:
Darimo products are safe and exceed the requirements of the EN ISO 4210. They
are warranted against defects of materials or workmanship for two years from the
acquisition date. It is necessary to maintain and submit the invoice acquisition. In
case of any problem, contact the store or the dealer where it was purchased or
contact us directly. The warranty does not cover damages due to improper
installation, wear, misuse, excessive torque, falls and shocks. Whenever there is a
failure either outside the warranty period or for a cause not covered by it, contact
us. We have advantageous replacement option and we always try to give our best.
After the acquiring a Darimo product in a shop or a dealer, we recommend you to
send a copy or photography of the purchase invoice with the following form.
