Description of the device
Features
The TM-47 is a classic model condenser microphone that uses a 12AX7 (ECC83) vacuum tube as internal
amplifier. This why the microphone has an unsuppressed warm sound and a large dynamic range. It has
a large membrane condenser element of which the characteristic can be changed in 9 steps from
Omni, via Cardioid to Bidirectional.

1. Low cut filter on/off.
Use this switch to avoid subsonic rumble.
2. -10dB.
Set this switch in -10dB position when recording very loud signal sources in order to protect your
microphone against overload and resulting distortion.
3. Output 7-pole XLR connector.
Use the special 7-pole XLR cable supplied with your TM-47 to connect the microphone with the
Power supply.
