EXTERNAL CONTROL:
. An external switch for control of the fan motor can be mounted between
terminal 7 and 8 (please refer to the wiring diagrams in section 7). In the standard version terminal 2
has no function.
ROOM THERMOSTAT:
The room thermostat is connected to the terminals 10/11/12. The bridge
between terminals 10 and 11 must be removed, otherwise the burner will be running constantly. A
230 V room thermostat or seven days programme panel is used.
BURNER:
The burner is connected by means of the pre-wired Wieland plug, which is connected to
terminals 13-20. Terminals 19 and 20 are exclusively for heaters with gas burner for the Danish
market. All other heaters have a bridge over these terminals.
MAINS
. These four terminals, L1/L2/L3/N, are for connection of 3x400V to the unit. When
connecting the individual phases it must be observed that the fan motor is rotating in the right
direction (see also section 3).
The cables for power supply and external accessories can be led into the unit through already
established cable lead-ins in the left-hand side of the control panel.
2.3 Burner connection
The WA 45 - 120 units are delivered with universal burner flanges, which make it possible to mount
all usual burner types.
On WA 150 - 300 heaters an intermediate flange has to be mounted - according to burner type. See
dimensions and bore holes in the burner manual.
The burner is connected to mains by means of a Wieland plug. This plug is pre-mounted in the
burner compartment. If the burner has no corresponding plug or does not fit this plug, the Wieland
plug of the WA 45 - 300 units is dismounted and the electrical connection is made as shown in the
wiring diagrams in section 7 and according to the wiring diagram of the burner.
Before start and adjustment of the burner, please consult the manuals from the burner supplier and
the data plate on the heater. If the heater is delivered with pre-mounted burner, the instruction
manual for the burner is delivered separately with the WA unit.
2.4 Free-blowing unit
The WA 45 - 300 units are supplied with air discharge louvres when delivered and can immediately
be used as free-blowing units.
Burner manufactures and burner types utilised must be affixed with
the CE marking. Gas burners must be in accordance with EN 676.
Oil burners must be in accordance with EN 267. It must be ensured
that the working area is correct for the heater in question.
Oil and gas connection is to be made by authorized
specialists only.
