Product and functional description
Illustration
Illustration of the functional principle of the CDP 75/125/165:
Functionality of
the dehumidifier
The CDP 75, 125 and 165 are working in accordance with the condensation principle.
The humid air is drawn into the unit by a fan.
In the evaporator the air is cooled and when its temperature has fallen to below the dew
point, the water vapour condenses into droplets which are led to a drain.
The dry cold air is then passed through the condenser where it is reheated.
As a result of the released evaporator heat and the working energy of the compressor
being turned into heat energy, more heat is returned to the air than was previously ex-
tracted. This extra heat corresponds to an approximate increase in temperature of 5°C.
The repeated circulation of air through the unit reduces the relative humidity, giving very
rapid but gentle drying.
