How the dehumidifi-
er works
The following describes the air's passage through the dehumidifier:
Phase
Description
1
The fan draws in humid air through the filter in the dehumidifier
2
The rotor absorbs the humidity from the humid air
3
The dry air leaves the dehumidifier
4
The regeneration air is taken from the two 30-degree sections of the rotor
located on each side of the regeneration section
5
The PTC heating element warms up the regeneration air to approx. 110 ºC (at
20 ºC intake)
6
The regeneration air absorbs the humidity from the rotor
7
The humid regeneration air leaves the dehumidifier
The two air passages are fixed and the rotor turns and an automatic and continuous
drying/regeneration process is thus achieved.
