G. Call mode
This mode provides the ability to turn off the calling feature. If you using the device in
a situation where the calling feature is not being used, then turning it off (disabling it)
can prevent accidental triggering of the call circuit.
Turning off the call mode turns off the transmitting of the call signal when a double
tap on the channels talk key is detected. It also turns of the detectors looking for an
incomming call signal.
H. RX Only mode
The receive only mode allows the device to receive audio only. When set in this
mode pressing the talk key turns the associated incoming audio circuit on/ off to the
loudspeaker/ headphones.
When a channel is set to receive only the operators microphone is never routed to
the channels output and a call signal will also never be sent to the output.
I. Headphone Boost
Headphone boost is a facility provided in case you are working in a very noisy
enviroment. By turning it on the headphone output level is increased by 10dB.
If
‘ON’ is not shown on the setup screen as per the above picture then headphone
boost is turned off.
J. Pip Tone Vol
