Description

AMV 10

AMV 13

AMV 20,  AMV 30

AMV 23 (23 SU), AMV 33

The actuators with or without safety function are

available for 3-point controls. The spring return

actuators can be used to provide safety shut off

on power failure. They are used with VS2, VM2,

VB2, VMV and AVQM valves.
In addition to basic function such as manual

control and position indication, the actuators are

also equipped with force sensitive switch-off to

ensure that actuators and valves are not exposed

to overload. This function automatically ensures

the self-adjustment of the end positions on the valve.

Main data:
•  24 V and 230 V version
•  AMV 10, 13 - spindle speed 14 s/mm
•  AMV 20, 23, 23 SU - spindle speed 15 s/mm
•  AMV 30, 33 - spindle speed 3 s/mm
•  spring return function (DIN 32730

registration).

Adjustment and commissioning, DHW circuit - App. A266

Danfoss ECL Comfort 310 - Application A266

The substation is supplied with an Danfoss ECL 310 controller. The

ECL controller is supplied with an ECL Application Key A266, which

is adapted to the type of system, for which electronic control of the

DHW circuit is wanted.

Note! Various applications can be loaded.

The controller is factory-set for local language and the running time

for the actuator (DHW circuit) is preset for the actual application.

General controller settings such as “Time and Date” must be entered

during commissioning of the controller. And also the desired DHW

temperature must be set.

Please refer to the enclosed manufacturer instructions for the ECL

210/310 controller in order to

set the  required domestic hot water

temperature

ECL Application Key Box with ECL Comfort 210/310 user guide and

mounting guide, for further information.

We recommend that that your order commissioning of the controller

with your local Danfoss Sales Company.

Ac valve,  unit with control of the heating and DHW cir-

cuits, Application A266

For controlling the domestic hot water circuit the S 22, A266 is sup-

plied with Danfoss AMV 30 actuator with Danfoss valve housing

type VM2 placed on the primary return flow pipe. The AMV actuator

is electrically wired to the controller from the plant.

Factory-setting

The actuator has undergone a functional test and is preset from

factory.

In the event of operating disturbances the actuator can be shut off

manually  in accordance with enclosed instructions, by turning the

manual override knob on top of the actuator clockwise. Please note

that the knob can be “tight” to turn.

For additional information see the manuals:

AMV30 and VM2.

Circulation pump (DHW recirculation)

Start-up of circulation pump

The unit comes standard with a circulation pump, Wilo-Star-Z

Nova.

The pump is electrically connected to the ECL controller from fac-

tory.

Start-up:

•

Turn on the water supply

•

Open the faucet farthest away in the system and let it run until

no more air is coming out of the faucet

•

The pump is controlled by the ECL controller and  the pump rotor

space bleeds automatically after a short time in operation. (There

may be some noise during this phase).

For additional information see the manual for

Wilo-Star-Z NOVA

Alternatively a Grundfos Alpha2 L 15-40 CIL2 circulation pump may

be fitted in the unit. Set the pump to “Constant-pressure curve - in

pos. I II or III, in accordance with manual.
