3. Next, select the Type: field (the default reads

RS232) and toggle it to Modem.

4. If you want this address to receive notification when

alarms are cleared, toggle the default No in the next
line to Yes.

5. To establish a schedule for alarms to be sent to this

address, change the Schedule 1 field to Standard
from Not Used. This will cause a schedule to
appear for editing:

Selecting Alarms to Route via Ethernet

1. Press the EXIT key (on your PC, the ESC key) until

you return to the Alarm Routing screen. (If you get
lost, press the MENU key or, on your PC, repeat-
edly press the ESC key to reach the Main Menu.
(From the Main Menu, select Configuration, Alarms,
Routing.)

2. Once in the Alarm Routing screen you can select

which alarm types you wish to be sent by Ethernet
by selecting X from the list box instead of the default
 in Network column 1. Do this for each class of
alarms you want sent to the network receiver.

In the system shown below, all SystemRack Pres-
sure
Case and Misc. alarms will be sent out over the
network via the Lantronix Device Server.
