Mating with Bluetooth
The MLife’s built­in Bluetooth receiver lets you stream
music directly from any smartphone, tablet or Bluetooth­
equipped computer. To mate your portable device with the
MLife, select Stream from the Momentum app, then select
Bluetooth from the Stream menu screen.
Bluetooth mating processes vary with different portable
devices. In general, you should go to the Settings screen
on your portable device, select Bluetooth, and scan for
available devices. You should see “Momentum MLife”
appear as one of the devices. Select it and the two devices
will pair. After pairing once, most portable devices will
automatically pair with the MLife if its Bluetooth input is
selected. With some, you may need to go back into the
Settings menu on the device to pair it again.
Setting up with AirPlay
Apple AirPlay allows the MLife to stream from any
computer (Mac or Windows) running iTunes, or from any
iOS device, such as the included iPod touch or an iPhone
or iPad. These devices must be connected to the same
network as the MLife.
To connect via AirPlay, press the Stream button in the app,
then press the Settings button, then press AirPlay menu
item. If you are using your home network and it is
password­protected, you
will be prompted to enter
the password.
Once the MLife is
connected, you will see
the AirPlay logo appear
in the bottom corner of
the playback screen on
