Cleaning the Lens
If it is necessary to clean the lens, observe the following notes:
NOTICE
Damage to the lens element due to improper cleaning practices
➡ Remove dust and other small particles from the lens element with a suitable
bulb blower and/or a special lens dust brush to avoid scratching the lens.
• Do not use canned air or cotton buds for cleaning the lens element.
➡ To remove greasy dirt such as fingerprints, only use cleaning products (lens
cleaning solutions, cleaning wipes, etc.) that are specially designed for
cleaning optical surfaces.
• Do not use organic solvents (alcohol, benzine) for cleaning the lens
element.
• Generally, be aware not to touch the lens element to avoid fingerprints.
