14 Troubleshooting
NORMAL
Interference with radio and TV
reception
Interference with radio and TV
reception may occur during operation
of the microwave oven. This is similar
to the interference caused by small
electrical appliances, such as mixer,
vacuum cleaner or fan.
Weak oven lighting At low microwave powers, the oven
lighting may also be weaker.
Accumulation of steam at the door,
hot air rises out of the openings
During cooking, the food can steam.
Most of the steam escapes via the
openings, but some vapours
accumulate at cool locations, such as at
the microwave oven door.
FAULT POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDY
Microwave oven
does not start
Mains power cable not
correctly plugged in
Pull the plug out of the plug
socket. Wait 10 seconds
then plug in again.
Fuse has blown or circuit
breaker has tripped.
Have fuse or circuit
breaker replaced by
qualified personnel.
Problems with the plug
socket
Test the plug socket using
a different electrical
appliance.
Appliance door is not
completely closed.
Close the appliance door.
Glass turntable
makes noises
Dirt under the rotary
table shaft.

Rotary table axis has
been moved
Insert the rotary table
shaft again correctly.
