To enter any keyboard command, first press and release the left Control Key , this is
represented by <Ctrl>. Then enter the command followed by any parameters you wish to
specify, for example the port number. Letter commands are not case sensitive, and are shown
in upper case for clarity only. Do not use the numeric keypad to enter any commands.

Enables the scan Go command.
<Ctrl><Ctrl> SH <Enter>
Enables the scan Halt command.
<Ctrl><Ctrl> M+ <Enter>
Mouse will suspend scanning.
<Ctrl><Ctrl> M- <Enter>
Mouse will not suspend scanning, (default)
<Ctrl><Ctrl> ZM <Enter>
Resynchronises the mouse.
<C trlxC trl> MR <Enter>
Resets a computer’s PS/2 mouse.
<Ctrl><Ctrl> MW <Enter>
Resets a computer’s IntelliMouse.
<Ctrl><Ctrl> Kn <Enter>
Sets keyboard scan set; n is a number 1 - 3.
<Ctrl><Ctrl> AV <Enter>
Displays the current firmware version o f the processors
inside your Scout unit. You must be either at a DOS
prompt or in a text editor/word processor to view this
information.
