PROGRAMMING (LEARNING) SENSORS TO THE PR-4000

• The PR-4000 can accept up to 16 different Dakota Alert 4000 Series sensors.
• Press and release the POWER button to clear the “ZONE” and “TTL”.
• With the keypad unlocked, press the MODE and UP
key at the same time and
then release.
• You will now see “COdE LEArnInG” in the display.

• Use the DOWN
button to select the zone that you would like to program (1-16).
**If the zone is already occupied, “USE” will show in the display.
• Use the UP
button to select the tune that you want to play when the zone is
activated.

• Activate the sensor that you want to use with that zone (please refer to sensor
manual for activation instructions).
• The display will now show “USE” to indicate that the sensor has been programmed to
that zone.
• If you are using more than one sensor with the PR-4000, use the DOWN
button
to move on to the next zone that you would like to program.
• Repeat for further sensors.
NOTE: To exit programming, press and release the power button.
