Deadband Operation
Controls up to two Heat and two Cool stages.
The
1st Stage
of heat or cool is turned on when:
(A)
The temperature spread from the setpoint is equal to or greater
than:
the setpoint plus the 1st stage deadband. This 1st stage dead-
band is adjustable from 1-6 degrees and the default is two degrees.
The
2nd Stage
of heat or cool is turned on when:
(A)
The 1st Stage has been on for a minimum of two minutes
(default setting).
AND
(B)
The temperature spread from the setpoint is equal to or greater
than:
the setpoint plus the 1st stage deadband, plus the 2nd stage
deadband. This 2nd stage deadband is adjustable from 0 - 10
degrees.
Turning on the Time Period Program
Pressing the
MODE
button should cycle through OFF, then
the available modes (setup step #28) then Program
ON
. Note
that this sequence may be restricted due to settings on the
Skyport website. The thermostat can be configured to be non-
programmable which will keep Program
ON
from appearing in the
MODE
sequence. The thermostat can also be configured to force
the program to always be running so the
MODE
button will have
no effect.
