(Cleaning the air filter element)
Instructions
·
Never remove the air filter element when it is
not cleaned. Otherwise problems can occur.
(For the standard product of this model, no air
filter element is equipped.)
·
When “ ” is displayed on the remote control,
please ask a professional personnel to clean.
·
The display will appear after operation for a period
of time.
·
When the air conditioner is used in a dusty
environment, the air filter element should be
cleaned more frequently.
·
For details on changing the set time of the “ ”
displayed, please contact the dealer.
(When the air conditioner is purchased, the set time
is 2500 hours.)
·
The following time and display information can be set.
1250, 2500, 5000, and 10000
1. Remove the air filter element.

CAUTION
·
The air conditioner can only be cleaned only
after it is stopped and the power supply is
switched off.
Otherwise electrical shock or injury can occur.
·
Never wash the air conditioner with water.
Otherwise electrical shock can occur.
·
Use a stable standing platform.
Use particular caution when washing the
air conditioner.
Routine Maintenance:
For models with a wired remote control, there are two
types as BRC1C and BRC1E.
When using Type BRC1C, please read this operation
manual.
When using Type BRC1E, please read the operation
manual supplied with the remote control.
CAUTION
As for the cleaning method for the air filter element and the
grille (air suction inlet and air blow outlet), as well as for the
cleaning method for the items supplied on site, please
consult the construction personnel.
3. Install the air filter element.
4. Press the air filter element signal reset key on
the remote control.
“ ” will disappear.

Please clean the water drainage pan regularly,
as the water drainage pipe can be blocked by the
built up dirt and can leak water.
·
Please ask for cleaning from a Daikin Agency.
(Please clean before use of the air conditioner in
cold and warm season.)
·
In case that it is dusty around the indoor unit,
please use a dust cover (supplied on site).
(Cleaning the inside of the indoor unit)
·
Always clean the inside of the indoor unit regularly.
As professional techniques are required to clean
the indoor unit, please ask a Daikin Agency for
cleaning.
In case of any of the following problems, please
contact your dealer.

In case of any abnormality (bad smell, etc.),
please switch off the power switch.
In case that the unit is operated continuously
with abnormality, problems can occur and
lead to electrical shock or fire.

Please contact your dealer.
Symptom

The safety devices such as the fuse, circuit breaker
and electricity leakage circuit breaker frequently trip
off, and the operation switch does not work properly.
