HOW TO CLEAN THE AIR FILTER

Clean the air filter when the display shows “

”

(TIME TO CLEAN AIR FILTER).
Increase the frequency of cleaning if the unit is
installed in a room where the air is extremely
contaminated.
(As a yardstick for regulating yourself, consider
cleaning the filter once every two weeks.)

1. Open the front panel.

Place your fingers on the panel protrusions on
the left and right sides of the main unit and open
until the panel stops.

2. Pullout the air filter.

Push up the tab in the center of the air filter
slightly then pull out in a downward direction.

dirty, use soft brush and
neutral detergent.

NOTE

Do not wash the air conditioner with hot water of
more than 50°C, as doing so may result in discol-
oration and/or deformation.

Do not expose it to fire, as doing so may result in
burning.

5. Clean the air purifying filter with

photocatalytic deodorizing function. (Gray)

The air purifying filter with photocatalytic deodor-
izing function can be renewed by washing it with
water once every 6 months. We recommend
replacing it once every 3 years.

Maintenance

• Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner and wash

lightly with water.

• If it is very dirty, soak it for 10 to 15 minutes in

water mixed with a neutral cleaning agent.

• After washing, shake off remaining water and

dry in the shade.

• Since the material is made out of paper, do not

wring out the filter when removing water from it.
