Field settings

The con

fi

guration of the Daikin system is done through 

fi

eld settings.

In this operation manual all 

fi

eld settings related to the operation of

the unit and user demand are explained. A list of all those 

fi

eld

settings and default values is given under "Field settings table" on
page 16.
 In this same list, we provided for 2 columns to register the
date and value of altered 

fi

eld settings at variance with the default

value.

For a total list of 

fi

eld settings, refer to the installation manual.

All 

fi

eld settings are accessible and programmable through the user

interface on the indoor unit.

Each 

fi

eld setting is assigned a 3-digit number or code, for example

[5-03], which is indicated on the user interface display. The 

fi

rst digit

[5] indicates the '

fi

rst code' or 

fi

eld setting group. The second and

third digit [03] together indicate the 'second code'. 

Procedure

To change one or more 

fi

eld settings, proceed as follows.

Press the 

z

 button for a minimum of 5 seconds to enter FIELD

SET MODE.
The 

$

 icon (3) will be displayed. The current selected 

fi

eld

setting code is indicated 

;

 (2), with the set value displayed to

the right 

-

 (1).

Press the

 button to select the appropriate 

fi

eld setting

fi

rst code.

Press the 

ébj

 button to select the appropriate 

fi

eld setting

second code.

Press the 

pfi

  button and

  button to change

the set value of the select 

fi

eld setting.

Save the new value by pressing the 

pr

 button.

Repeat step 2 through 4 to change other 

fi

eld settings as

required.

When

nished, press the 

z

 button to exit FIELD SET MODE.

NOTE

Changes made to a speci

fi

fi

eld setting are only

stored when the 

pr

 button is pressed. Navigating to a

new 

fi

eld setting code or pressing the 

z

  button will

discard the change made.

NOTE

Before shipping, the set values have been set as
shown under "Field settings table" on page 16.

When exiting FIELD SET MODE, "

" may be

displayed on the remote controller LCD while the
unit initializes itself.

that there are some more 

fi

eld settings as there are

mentioned in the "Field settings table" on page 16. 

These

eld settings are not applicable and may not be

changed!
