Available operation mode are depend on indoor unit.

Characteristics of Heat Mode

The system automatically controls the following operating modes to prevent the 
reduction of heating capacity and space comfort.

Defrost operation

• 

The system will automatically go into defrost operation to prevent frost 
accumulation at the outdoor unit and subsequent loss of heating 
capacity.

• 

The indoor unit fan will stop, and “

STANDBY

” will be displayed on the 

remote controller.

• 

The system will finish the Defrost operation and return to normal 
usually within six to eight minutes. It won’t last for more than ten 
minutes.

Hot start

• 

When the system starts heating operation, the indoor unit fan will 
operate with a delay in order to prevent a cold draft. 

 

(In that case, “

STANDBY

” will be displayed on the remote controller.)
