Repair

Retention period of functional parts for repair
Functional parts for repair refer to parts required for maintaining the product functionality.
The company will retain functional parts for repair of this UV streamer air purifier unit for 9 years after discontinuation of production.
Recommendation to have a maintenance contract
After several seasons of use, performance of the UV streamer air purifier unit may degrade as its interior becomes dirty.
The company recommends that you conclude a maintenance contract (charged) since disassembly and internal cleaning of the
unit require specialized skills.
Guideline for inspection and maintenance cycle
[Note that maintenance cycle does not indicate warranty period.]
•
Read the service manual before opening the appliance.
Table 1 assumes the following conditions of use.
(1) Normal conditions of use with no frequent running and stopping.
(Although it depends on the model, the standard number times the unit runs and stops in normal use is no more than 6 times
per hour.)
(2) The operating time of the product is assumed to be 10 hours/day, 2,500 hours/year.
• Table 1. List of “inspection cycles” and “maintenance cycles”
Main part name
Inspection cycle
Maintenance cycle
[Replacement or repair]
Printed circuit boards
1 year
25,000 hours
NOTE 1. This table shows the main parts. For details, check based on the maintenance contract.
NOTE 2. This maintenance cycle indicates the approximate period until the maintenance to ensure long and safe use of the product.
Use it for appropriate maintenance design (budgeting the maintenance costs and the like).
Also, depending on the details of the maintenance contract, the inspection and maintenance cycles may be shorter than in
this table.
NOTE 3. The “maintenance cycle” and “replacement cycle” need to be shortened when the conditions of use (long operating time,
frequent running and stopping, etc.) or the environment of use (high temperature, high humidity, etc.) becomes severe.
For details, consult your dealer or the contact centre.
