Is the measured voltage on the
DC fan motor connector on the
inverter PCB correct?
Action
Yes
Replace the DC fan motor
assembly, see
.
No
Replace the inverter PCB, see
"2.15 Inverter PCB" on page 61
.
5
Measure the voltage on the DC fan motor connector pins 4-3.
The measured voltage MUST be 15 V DC.
Is the measured voltage
correct?
Action
Yes
Skip the next step of this
procedure.
No
Perform the next step of this
procedure.
6
Disconnect the DC fan motor connector from the inverter PCB
and measure the voltage on the connector pins 4-3 of the
connector on the inverter PCB. The voltage MUST be 15 V DC.
Is the measured voltage on the
DC fan motor connector on the
inverter PCB correct?
Action
Yes
Replace the DC fan motor
assembly, see
.
No
Replace the inverter PCB, see
"2.15 Inverter PCB" on page 61
.
7
Measure the voltage on the DC fan motor connector pins 4-2.
The measured voltage should be 0~10 V DC. It should not be
0 V DC.
Is the measured voltage
0 V DC?
Action
Yes
Replace the inverter PCB, see
"2.15 Inverter PCB" on page 61
.
No
Replace the DC fan motor
assembly, see
.
8
Turn OFF the unit via the user interface.
9
Manually (slowly) rotate the fan blade propeller 1 turn and
measure the voltage on the DC fan motor connector pins 1-2. 4
pulses of 5 V DC MUST be measured.
Pulses are measured during
fan blade propeller rotation?
Action
Yes
Replace the main PCB, see
.
No
Replace the DC fan motor, see
