INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The safety instructions marked at the beginning of this manual
must be followed at all times when using this product.
Follow the instructions below in order to switch on the appliance:
1. Remove the product from its original packaging taking special
care not to damage any of its parts. Do not use excessive force to
remove the product from the box.
2. Remove the cover of the battery on the back of the scale.
3. Place the charged battery in the right place under the cover
following the indicated polarity, that is, placing the positive “+”
facing outwards.
4. Put the cover back on.
5. Place the device on a hard, rigid, flat, stable horizontal surface
free of vibration.
6. Prepare the apparatus according to the unit weight, kg/lb selec-
ting the weight units kg/lb/st pressing the button on the back of the
scale, marked with the word “UNIT”
7. Gently place your feet on the surface of the scale to start the
device and wait for the symbol “0.0” to appear on the screen.
8. Place yourself in the centre of the platform and avoid sudden
movements, keep still and
without touching other objects, until the scale shows your weight.
The user must wait while the weight is being calculated. The scale
indicates that it has completed the weighing by flashing the final
value three times.
9. To save energy, the device goes into sleep mode after several
seconds of inactivity.
10. To return to normal operation, simply place your foot lightly on
the platform and wait for the symbol “0.0” to appear on the screen.
11. Replace the unit in a safe and stable place.
Contraindications:
This product is for domestic use only and not for professional
purposes.
Children must be supervised by an adult to prevent them using the
appliance as a toy.
This device is not designed to be used by persons (including chil-
dren) with reduced physical, sensory or psychological capacities, or
who lack the necessary experience and knowledge, unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety.
Repair:
Only specialised personnel should perform repairs to this electrical
appliance. Any incorrectly performed repair may lead to considera-
ble risk for the user. In the event of repair, please always contact
our aftersales service. Failure to observe these instructions will lead
to the total loss of the product warranty.
