Description of Parts
Before the first time you use your Slow Cooker
•
Please read these operating instructions thoroughly and keep them in a safe
place for future reference.
•
Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
•
Wash the ceramic inner pots and glass lids in hot soapy water with a sponge or
cloth, rinse thoroughly and dry.
Do’s and Don’ts for using your Slow Cooker
•
DO NOT IMMERSE THE SLOW COOKER BASE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER
LIQUIDS.
•
NEVER
place the ceramic inner pots or glass lids in a freezer, on the hob, in the
oven or in a microwave.
•
Do not use the slow cooker to pre heat ingredients.
•
Do not subject the ceramic inner pot to sudden changes in temperature,
plunging a hot ceramic inner pot into cold water could cause it to crack or
shatter.
•
Do not allow the pot to stand in water for a long time (though you can leave
water
inside
the pot to soak).
•
Do not switch on the Slow Cooker whilst the ceramic inner pots is missing or
empty.
•
The glass lids sit a little loosely on the ceramic inner pots and is deliberately not
a tight fit.
During initial use you may notice a slight odour due to the burning off of
manufacturing residues. This is completely normal and will disappear after a
short time.
