Notes about Password and Rating
1. Parental Control functions only if the DVD titles has it encoded in its program.
Parental Control does not work for Video CD or CD Audio.
2. The Rating can be changed if the Password is ‘unlocked’ (
shown).
3. The Rating cannot be changed if the Password is ‘locked’ (
shown).
4. A Password is always 4 digits.
5. To lock, enter four digits followed by ‘Enter’. The password digits are shown on the
screen as they are entered. When ‘Enter’ is pressed, they are over-written with
****, the ‘locked’ icon appears, and the Password is saved in non-volatile memory.
6. To unlock, enter four digits followed by ‘Enter’. When ‘Enter’ is pressed, they are
over-written with ****, the ‘unlocked’ icon appears, and the Password is erased
from memory.
7. Do not forget your password. However, a special front panel sequence may be used
to clear it. (TBD)
OSD : Setting for OSD on/off
OSD ON enables the ‘pop-up’ displays.
OSD OFF suppresses ‘pop-up’ except where noted.
