1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the enclosed safety warnings, the additional safety warnings and the instructions. Failure to
follow the safety warnings and the instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious

2. SAFETY WARNINGS FOR WORK LIGHT
a) Please read and observe all safety warnings and instructions enclosed with the battery or the
power tool with which the battery was provided.
b) Do not work with the cordless worklight in hazardous areas.
c) After the automatic shut-off of the cordless worklight, do not continue to press the On/Off
button. The battery could become damaged.
d) Do not direct the light beam at persons or animals and do not stare into the light beam
yourself (not even from a distance).
e) Do not cover off the lamp head while operating the cordless worklight. The lamp head heats up
during operation and can cause burns when the heat accumulates.
f) Do not use the cordless worklight in road traffic. The cordless worklight is not approved for
illumination in road traffic.
g) Before any work on the cordless worklight itself (e.g. assembling, maintenance, etc.), as
well as when transporting and storing, remove the battery from the cordless worklight.
h) Do not allow children to use the cordless worklight. It is intended for professional use.
Children can unintentionally blind themselves or other persons.

5. ASSEMBLY
Before any work on the power tool, remove the battery.
The battery must be charged before first use.
Inserting the battery into the machine (Fig. B)
Ensure that the exterior of the battery is clean and dry before connecting to the
charger or machine.
1. Insert the battery (6) into the base of the machine as shown in Fig. B.
2. Push the battery further forward until it clicks into place.
Removing the battery from the machine (Fig. B)
1. Push the battery unlock button (5)
2. Pull the battery out of the machine like shown in Fig. B.
6. OPERATION
On/Off switch (Fig. A)
• Press the on/off switch (1) once to turn the work light on.
• Press the on/off switch (1) again to turn the work light off.
Pivoting head (Fig. C)
The pivoting head (2) can be positioned within a range of 128º as desired by swiveling it up or
down.
Setting the angle of diffusion (Fig. D)
You can set the angle of diffusion by turning the lens plate (3) to one of 2 positions.
Carrying handle (Fig. E)
The cordless work light can be carried or fastened
to an object with the carrying handle (4).
7. MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance, always switch off the machine and remove the battery
pack from the machine.
Clean the machine casings regularly with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Make sure that the
ventilation openings are free of dust and dirt. Remove very persistent dirt using a soft cloth moiste-
ned with soapsuds. Do not use any solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia, etc. Chemicals
such as these will damage the synthetic components.
8. ENVIRONMENT
Faulty and/or discarded electrical or electronic apparatus have to be collected at
the appropriate recycling locations. Only for EC countries.
Do not dispose of power tools into domestic waste.

According to the European Guideline 2012/19/EC for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and
its implementation into national right, power tools that are no longer usable must be collected
separately and disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
