Broiling recommendation guide
The size, weight, thickness, starting temperature, and your doneness preference will affect
broiling times. This guide is based on meats at refrigerator temperature. Always use a
broiler pan and its grid when broiling. Always preheat the oven for 5 minutes before
broiling.

If you are using the ovens in single mode,
do one of the following:
• Tap

• Place food in the oven after preheating if the recipe calls for it. Preheating is
very important for good results when baking cakes, cookies, pastry, and breads.
After the oven has reached the desired temperature, the oven will beep 6 times.
• The convection oven fan shuts off when the oven door is opened.
• DO NOT leave the door open for long periods of time while using convection
cooking or you may shorten the life of the convection heating element.
