Disposing of the Old Refrigerator

Junked refrigerators are suffocation hazards. 

Before you 

discard your old refrigerator:

•  remove the doors.

•  leave the shelves in place so children may not easily 

climb inside.

circuit-breaker panel, and lock the panel. If locking is not 

possible, securely fasten a prominent warning to the panel not 

to turn the power on.
