7. Menu Operation.

Connect the TV/DVD to the Mains adaptor and suitable aerial. It is advisable not to connect other 
apparatus until you have established that the TV is working correctly. Indoor aerials (set top) may not be 
suitable for some of the received stations. Turn on the power and a Red led will be displayed in the lower 
right corner.

Press either the Standby button on the remote control or the Power button on the TV. 

The led will now turn Green and the screen will light up after approx 5 seconds.

At this stage no stations will be stored.

Basic Tuning

The TV will display a message as in Fig 1. If TV is not selected, use the 
“SOURCE”

 

button to display the SOURCE menu (Fig 2).  Use the 

/

 

buttons to select TV and press OK. The message (Fig 1) will still be 
shown.

Press the LCD MENU button on the remote control. The GENERAL 
MENU (Fig 3) will be displayed.

Use the 

/

buttons to select  TV KANAAL  (Fig 3).

Use the 

button to select “AUTO SCAN”

 

and press OK.

The TV will now start to search for all the stations in your area “Fig 4”.  
This could take a few minutes. When complete the TV will display

 

the 

first received station.
If you need to stop the search, press the LCD MENU button. No stations 
will be stored and any stations in the memory will be deleted.

The received stations may not be in the required order, to set the 
stations into your required order please see page 13
