Switch Description

The DXS-1210 series is the latest next generation of Smart Managed switches from D-Link. Switches in this series
feature a wide selection of different ports types and speeds that can be used to interconnect a variety of networking
devices to communicate with each other. The SFP28 and SFP+ ports, with fiber-optical cabling, can be used to uplink
connections that may span over great distances. Switches in this series also implement D-

Link’s innovative third

generation Green Ethernet technology (IEEE 802.3az) to save power from links that are inactive by turning LEDs off
based on a customized schedule and by allowing ports to enter a hibernated state automatically.

Switch Series

The following switches are part of the DXS-1210 switch series:

DXS-1210-28T

 - Smart Managed Ethernet switch with 24 RJ45 10 Gbps and 4 SFP28 10/25 Gbps ports

DXS-1210-28S

 - Smart Managed Ethernet switch with 24 SFP+ 10 Gbps and 4 RJ45 10 Gbps ports

Package Contents

Open the shipping carton of the Switch and carefully unpack its contents. The carton should contain the following
