Use the Virtual Router Status
page to display virtual router status.
To display the page, click
LAN > Monitoring > L3 Status > Virtual Router Status
in the navigation tree.

Field
Description
VRID
Virtual Router Identifier.
Slot/Port
Indicates the interface associate with the VRID.
Priority
The priority value used by the VRRP router in the election for the master virtual router.
Pre-empt Mode
• Enable
: If the Virtual Router is a backup router, it preempts the master router if it has
a priority greater than the master virtual router's priority provided that the master is
not the owner of the virtual router IP address.
• Disable
: If the Virtual Router is a backup router it does not preempt the master router
even if its priority is greater.
Advertisement Interval(secs)
The time, in seconds, between the transmission of advertisement packets by this
virtual router.
Virtual IP Address
The IP Address associated with the Virtual Router.
Interface IP Address
The actual IP Address associated with the interface used by the Virtual Router.
Owner
Set to True if the Virtual IP Address and the Interface IP Address are the same,
otherwise set to False. If this parameter is set to True, the Virtual Router is the owner
of the Virtual IP Address, and always wins an election for master router when it is
active.
VMAC Address
The virtual MAC Address associated with the Virtual Router, composed of a 24-bit
organizationally unique identifier, the 16-bit constant identifying the VRRP address block
and the 8-bit VRID. The Virtual MAC address is:
00:00:5e:00:01:XX,
where XX is the VRID.
Auth Type
The type of authentication in use for the Virtual Router
•
None: Specifies that the authentication type is none.
•
Simple: Specifies that the authentication type is a simple text password.
