DHCPv6

PTIONS
Displays the router’s DHCP Unique Identifier.
Check the box to enable the router to operate as a DHCPv6
server and issue DHCPv6 IP addresses to requesting clients.
Select the preferred Domain Name Server (DNS) mode from
the drop down menu. Select
Manual
to manually enter DNS
information. Select
Proxy
to use a proxy server to resolve the
DNS information.
If you selected Manual above, select whether you want to
use
None
,
From ISP
, or
User Defined
for your domain name
server. Enter the address of your DNS in the field provided.
Enter the DNS search path for your domain. From the drop-
down menu on the left, select
Y
to activate the setting, or
N
to deactivate it.
Select
IP Address
from the drop-down menu and enter the
IP address of an NTP server which will provide IPv6 Network
Time Protocol information to IPv6 hosts.

This section allows you to configure your router’s DHCP server for the IPv6 protocol. To edit any of the fields under this tab,
click on the field that you wish to edit, and a text box will appear. Click
OK
at the bottom of each section to save that particular
rule or configuration.
