HOW TO CHANGE KEY TONE
Select [Menu] > [Settings] > select option 5 [Profi les]
Select [Normal] > click on [Settings] > scroll down to
[Other alert ring] > select [Key tone] and select [Silent].
INSTALLATION
Ensure the DWR-720 /P is powered off before performing the steps below.
Flip the phone
around and
open the Battery
Cover at the
bottom of the
device.

Screw the antenna
into the TNC

Plug the other
end of the hand-
set cord into the
handset receiver

Plug the one end
of the handset cord
into the headset
port on the back of
the phone and clip
the cord into the
cord clip.

On the front of
the device, hold
the Red End call /
Power key for
±3 seconds.
The screen will
display a welcome
message to indicate
that the phone is
starting up.

Insert and slide
the SIM Card
into place as
shown above.

Insert the Battery
with the metal end
on the bottom left.
Close Battery Cover.

Note:
The battery comes partially charged.
You can use the device while charging.
If prompted for a PIN number enter the 4 digit PIN indicated on the larger card
supplied with the SIM card. Push the left Soft Key and select “OK” to unlock.
Note: If the phone keeps searching for signal and then indicates “Emergency
calls only” please phone Telkom on 081 180 to verify that your SIM is active.

OTHER IMPORTANT KEYS
* KEY:
Press the [*] key twice to input a + when dialling
# KEY:
Press the [#] key to change between input
methods when typing an SMS (Abc / ABC / abc / 123).
POWER ON/OFF
ON:
On the front of the device, hold the Red End call /
Power key for 3 seconds.
OFF:
Hold the Red End / Power Key for 3 seconds.
Note: In this state, all reminders & alarms will still sound.
SETTINGS
1.
You can change your language, time & date, Call
settings, Phone Settings, Display settings, Etc.
2.
Edit Profi les, Security.
3.
Check your phone information.
