levels. Low noise and a high signal levels indicate a good
Wireless LAN link.
To change the Access Point your PC Card is associated with, right-
click the Access Point icon corresponding to the new Access Point
and choose either
Set Manditory
or
Set Roaming
.
Set Manditory
will allow a link with only the selected Access Point.
Set Roaming
will allow a link with the selected Access Point, but will
automatically select a new Access Point when the signal from the
selected Access Point becomes too low or out of range.
Setting the Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP)
Keys
If your Access Point is configured to use Wired Equivalent Privacy
(WEP), your PC Card will need to be configured with the same
WEP keys as the Access Point uses.
Left-click on the
