Using the Configuration Menu
Advanced> Filters
SSID Broadcast:
(Service Set Identifier) Enable or Disable (default) the
broadcast of the SSID name across the network. SSID is a name that identi-
fies a wireless network. All devices on a network must use the same SSID to
establish communication.
Client Security:
Disabled is the default setting. Enabling this setting ensures
that the wireless clients will be secure and their files and folders will not be
available to other wireless clients
Antenna selection:
Choose Left, Right or Diversity. Diversity is the default
selection. By choosing which antenna is active, you can more selectively
configure your network.
Use
MAC Filters
to allow or deny computers by their MAC addresses from access-
ing the DWL-. You can either manually add a MAC address or select the
MAC address from the list of clients that are currently connected to the Broadband
Router. The default setting is

MAC Filter List:
This list will display the MAC addresses that are in the selected
filter
Antenna transmit power:
Default is the default setting. Select the range
you desire for your AP transmission. If you do not want the signal to range
too far, you can limit the distance with this tool. This may be helpful in secur-
ing your network.
