Enter your name here. When a call is placed from your
VideoPhone, the name you enter will be displayed as a Caller
ID on the remote end of the call. Unless the VideoPhone you call
has auto-answer turned on, the party you wish to call will decide
whether or not to accept your call based on this name.
Each country is assigned a country code for making video calls
between countries, similar to the regular international telephone
system. The cuntry code for the United States and Canada
is “1”. Other country codes are listed on page 67
.
Enter your
country code here (up to 3 digits).
The phone number is one you create for friends, family, and
others to call you. This is not associated with your home phone,
though you may wish to use your home phone number to make
remembering the number easier. You may make up a new one
if desired. This phone number will not be visible to any other
users. The DVC-2000 can support global phone number formats
(up to 4 digit area codes and up to 9 digit phone numbers are
supported).
