Section 4 - Configuration
Application
Port triggering allows ports to be opened when traffic is detected on specified
ports. This is used for facilitating communication between applications and
servers behind a NAT firewall. To access this page, click Application from the
Features menu on the bar on the top of the page.
The currently defined Application rules are displayed in the table. Some
commonly used Applications are pre-configured by default. You may create
up to eight application rules. If you wish to remove an application rule, click
on its trash can icon in the Delete column. If you wish to edit an application
rule, click on its pencil icon in the Edit column. If you wish to create a new
application rule, click the Add Rule button.
