Change
the
Hotspot
settings
Go to Chillifire->Chillifire Hotspot Settings
In the field UAM Homepage you can enter a webpage of your choice, to which unauthenticated users will
be redirected to. The value you enter must have a http:// or https:// in front of the specific website you
wish to define as homepage.
This website must contain a link to http://192.168.182.1:3990/prelogin so users can authenticate. After
applying changes to this field you have to reboot the router for them to take effect.
This setting makes sense if you have a company website and you want customers first to reach your
website, receive information and importantly, see your branding.
In the field UAM Allowed you can enter a list of comma [,] separated URLs, to which a user has access to
without authentication. The value you enter must NOT have a http:// or https:// in front of the specific
website or page. This could be a section of your company’s website or the complete site or whatever else
you wish to grant to the
customer without having to log on and pay.
This feature is also known as ‘Walled Garden’.
The rest of the fields are set to display only and cannot be manipulated.
Press the ‘Save Settings’ button and confirm your settings by pressing ‘Apply Settings’
We recommend you reboot your router.
Change
wireless
transmission
settings
Go to Network-> Wireless
Recommended standard transmission
power is 20dB equating to 100mW. Please
take local health and transmission
regulations into account when setting this
value.
Press the ‘Save Settings’ button
and confirm your settings by pressing
‘Apply Settings’
