Step 8: Configure the desired wireless seXngs for your Wi-­‐Fi network on this page:
Enable Wireless : Select this checkbox to enable wireless access. By default, this will be set to
Always on. You can set a schedule for turning on the wireless network by selecUng a
predetermined schedule from the drop-­‐down menu, or by clicking Add New Schedule . When
wireless in enabled, the following parameters take effect.
Wireless Network Name : Also known as the SSID, this is the name of your wireless network.
Enter a name using up to 32 alphanumeric characters. The SSID is case-­‐sensiUve. The default
name is“514”.
802.11 Mode :
•
Only B: Enable this mode if your network has only 802.11b devices.
•
Only G: Enable this mode if your network has only 802.11g devices.
