Telnet/Web
This window is used to display and configure Telnet and Web settings on the Switch.
To view the following window, click
Management > Telnet/Web
, as shown below:

The fields that can be configured in
Telnet Settings
are described below:
Parameter
Description
Telnet State
Select to enable or disable the Telnet server feature here.
Port
Enter the TCP port number used for Telnet management of the Switch. The
well-known TCP port for the Telnet protocol is 23.
Click the
Apply
button to accept the changes made.
The fields that can be configured in
Source Interface
are described below:
Parameter
Description
Source Interface State
Select to enable or disable the source interface’s state here.
Type
Select the type of source interface that will be used here. Options to choose
from are Loopback, Mgmt, and VLAN.
VID
Enter the interface ID here. For loopback interfaces the range is from 1 to 8.
For the management (Mgmt) interface this value can only be 0. For VLAN
interfaces the range is from 1 to 4094.
Click the
Apply
button to accept the changes made.

Web Settings
are described below:
Parameter
Description
Web State
Select this option to enable or disable the configuration through the web.
Port
Enter the TCP port number used for Telnet management of the Switch. The
well-known TCP port for the Telnet protocol is 80.
Click the
Apply
button to accept the changes made.
