Debug Environment Setup Procedure

Memory Verify Operation

Specifies whether to verify memory when data is written to memory.

TRG Input

Specifies whether to enable or disable TRIG pin input. For more information please refer MB2198_01 Hardware
manual (MB2198-01-CM71-00413-2E).

Restraint of watchdog reset

Specifies whether the watchdog timer is valid or invalid. Set it to

Disable

when using the internal watchdog and

using breakpoint.

Full Trace

All trace information will be gathered but MCU performance is lowered



Real Time

Some trace information will be lost. The lost information is marked in trace buffer window.

Suspension of clock by a pin

MCU has clock stop detection feature, same can be tested when suspension by clock field is enabled.

When this feature is enabled and if EMCSTPX (on MB2198-500 adapter Board) is pull down to ground, main
clock is stopped. Similarly if ESCSTPX (on MB2198-500 adapter Board) is pull down to ground, Sub Clock is
stopped
