4.3.3 USB Connector
A USB standard-A connector is used on the board, as shown in Figure 4-3 . The
connector’s shield is connected to the
ground. Six ESD diodes (D1
–D5 and D7) are placed on the USB signal pins to reduce ESD noise. D6, inductor (L16), and
capacitors (C50, C48) are placed on the VBUS pin to reduce the noise from power supply lines.
