The Cross Hatch 8 pattern is a full field black & white pattern of crossing
vertical and horizontal lines dividing the screen into 8 sections in each
direction. This pattern is primarily used to check for colour convergence
and pincushion issues in projectors. There are 2 variations: Normal (white
lines, black field) and Inverse (black lines, white field).
