TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem

Possible Cause

Solution

The scooter

won’t start.

Power Switch is

i

n OFF

position.
Battery is no

t

 charged.

Wires or connectors are loose

or unplugged.

Switch the Power Switch to ON.
Charge the battery full

y

. Charge the battery

 for

7 hours for the very first time and 4 hours for

subsequent charging.
Dismantle  the  scooter  and  check  the  power

connection  and  controller  connection  for  any

loosening. Re

connect

 them when necessary.

Scooter run

time is short.

Battery requires charging.

The battery will not accept

full charge.

Fully  charge  the  battery.  Charge  the  battery

7 hours for the very first time and 4 hours for

subsequent charging.
See  that  the  charger  plug  is  connected  to

a 2

3

0V power supply.

Make sure the wall outlet

switch

is on.

Battery

may  need  to  be  replaced.  Even  with

proper

care, rechargeable batteries do not last

forever.

The average rechargeable battery life

is 1 to 2

years depending on scooter conditions

and use.

The scooter

runs very

slowly.

The scooter is overloaded.

The riding surface is not

suitable.
Brakes are not adjusted

correctly.

Make sure the scooter is not overloaded.

This

product  is  designed  to  sustain  a  maximum

of

50kg.  An  excessive  overload  triggers  off

automatic  protection  and  makes  the  scooter

refuse  to  start.  Do  not  ride  uphill  or  use  the

scooter to tow any cargo. Do not overload the

scooter,  which  may  cause  the  battery  and  the

electronics to age prematurely and damage the

power system.
Only  ride  on  solid,  even,  clean,  and  dry

surfaces such as sidewalk

s

 and flat ground.

Refer  to  the  instruction  manual  on  adjusting

brakes.

Scooter

suddenly

stops working.

Reset button has tripped.

The reset button (on the left side of the battery

box) will automatically trip up and turn off the

power if the motor is overloaded.
An  excessive  overload  (steep  incline  or  too

heavy of a rider) could have caused the motor

to  overheat  and  tripped  the  breaker.  If  this

occurs (scooter suddenly stops running) wait

few seconds and then push the reset button

in

to  reset  the  circuit.  Avoid  repeatedly  tripping

the breaker.
Check  all  wire  and  connectors  to  make  sure

they are connected tight.

Scooter makes

grinding or loud

noises when

motor is running.

Chain is dry.

Apply lubricant to the chain.
