1. Place the Winch Mount Plate against the lower cross tube on the front bumper tubes.
See diagram below. Center the Winch Mount Plate on the cross tube and secure the
Winch Mount Plate to the ATV using the two 5/16” U-bolts. See the diagram below.
CYCLE COUNTRY 1500/2000 WINCH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Mount the Roller Hawse Mount Plate between the Winch and Winch Mount Plate.
Mount the Winch to the Winch Mount Plate using the 5/16” x 1” bolts, being sure the
Winch Motor is to the
LEFT
side of the ATV.
Remove one of the long rollers and feed the winch cable through the roller hawse. Next
reinstall the roller. Be sure roller moves freely.
Go to instruction #3.
WARN WINCH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the Hawse Mount from the Hawse Frame by removing the two Locknuts. Attach
the Hawse Frame to the Short side of the Factory Hawse using the two 3/8" x 1" Bolts.
Using the four 5/16" bolts supplied with the winch attach the winch and hawse to the
Winch Mount Plate according to the instructions supplied with the Warn Winch. Be sure
the winch motor is to the
RIGHT
side of the machine.
Remove one of the long rollers and feed the winch cable through the roller hawse. Next
reinstall the roller. Be sure roller moves freely.
Go to next instruction #3.
