Maintenance
Wipe the bike with a dry cloth or a neutral detergent.
Check the pressure and profile of the tires.
Check the brakes for wear and adjust or replace them if necessary.
Check the wheels for buckles or damaged spokes and have them repaired immediately by a
qualified bike repair specialist.
Use a lubricating oil on the metal parts, please note the motor should not be lubricated
Wipe the plastic and paint coated parts with a dish cloth.
Increase the frequency of using lubricating oils in wet and humid climates. (Recommended
to use 30SAE Lubricating Oil).
Brake pads, brake lines, and derailleurs will need tightening or adjustment periodically.
6 Week Inspection.
It is recommended that after this period you should inspect your bike, as things will become loose and
need re-tightening.
Every 6 Months.
It is recommended that every six months you complete a full service on your bike to keep it in excellent
working order.
When stored and not in use, remove the battery and store in a cool, dry place. Charge the battery
periodically as the battery will discharge over an extended time of no use.
Failure to do so will result in the battery falling into a dormant state, rendering the battery unrepairable.
