Using a Custom Program
1. Get on your 700 series cycle and start pedaling to activate the console.
2. Press the
Advanced Options
key. If you press a key somewhere else on the console, an
arrow will point toward the program keys, instructing you to select one.
Press
Advanced Options
until the top display reads “Custom.” Press
Enter
.
3. The display will show the default workout length. You can change this using the up and
down arrow keys, or use the keypad to type the number of minutes you want to work out.
If you try to enter a time longer than the maximum for this 700 series cycle, it won't
accept your entry. Press
Enter
.
The 700C Cycle and 700R Recumbent Cycle will take the workout length you enter and
divide it by the number of segments in your custom program to determine the length of
each segment. For example, if you have a program with 15 segments, and enter a workout
length of 30 minutes, each segment is 2 minutes long.
4. Press
Start
.
While you're pedaling, the 700C Cycle and 700R Recumbent Cycle operates just like it does
during one of the preset programs. The console shows statistics about your workout, and you
can raise or lower the overall level of the program, or pause during it, all as described in
Chapter 3.
