The are two sizes of the DVD physical disk: 12 cm and 8 cm in diameter. The more popular
size is the 12 cm.

DVD-Video data can be categorized into two Presentations and Navigation.
Presentation data
Video data is encoded using either the MPEG2 or MPEG1 compression method.
Audio is stored in a LPCM, Dolby Digital (AC-3), or MPEG audio format.
Sub-picture is using the Run-length coded bitmap with 1 bps.
Navigation data
Start-up contains initial setup, language, and parental lock.
System Menu contains angle, audio and sub-picture.
Search Functions contain title search, chapter search, program search, and time search.
Navigation command includes branching, parameter setup, and computation.
