half moves, the computer will display, depends of course on how many
half moves it looks ahead, but the number will not necessarily be
identical with the search depth.
When the computer has displayed the whole anticipated line of play,
it will flash one of the rank lights. This Indicates the computer's
evaluation of the position. If the flashing light is near the top of the
board, it means that this player is better of, if it is near the bottom of
the board, it means that this player is better of. Normally you are
playing with the p eces at the bottom of the board, giving the following
